[Rowan shakes his head, but it's a fondness at just how large Lestat's emotions are. He glances over his shoulder at Adam, seeing the human snuggling in closer, and he scoffs.

He glances around and finds something that he figures can be used to mop up the worst of what's all over Lestat's face. He dabs at the blood, the smears, and he wipes them clean.]

I'm sorry I got you this upset, my heart.

[He leaned in and pressed a kiss to his forehead, then wiggled until he could find a way for Lestat to rest his head against his chest and shoulder, all while trying not to jostle Adam.]

[ a little wounded sound from the vampire, a scrunch of his nose at the cleaning and fussing. but a beat more and a crooked smile curls at his mouth, brows creasing. between rowan's steady warmth and adam's nuzzling between his shoulder blades in his slumber, that endless despair is beginning to fill with comfort, the steady pressure around his body easing his tension away.

he huffs out a breath against rowan's chest, tips up his chin carefully to kiss the man's jaw. ]

[ he'll nose his way up to steal a gentle kiss from rowan's mouth, then burrow back down into his warmth with a sigh. let rowan go only to pull thick furs over the three of them, then sink back into his little burrow. between the soothing scent of beeswax and smoke and the pleasant sounds and colours of adam's dreamscape, it does not take long at all for lestat's mind to empty and for him to slip into slumber. ]

[He wouldn't fall asleep immediately, listening to the sound of Lestat's breathing even out into slumber, feeling the sun rising outside above the horizon, and the scent of Adam lacing over everything.

Before he slipped into sleep himself, he wrapped summer warmth around both of the boys in the bed with them, tucking the scrawny human in behind Lestat, then closing his eyes and letting sleep drag him under, soothed by the scent and weight of the vampire against his side.]
